Description
A small or creeping tree often gaining support from other trees. It can be up to 30 m high and 7 cm across the trunk. Leaves have 1-4 pairs of leaflets. The leaflets are somewhat leathery. The white flowers are in panicles. The fruit are yellow when ripe and 1-2 cm across.
Edible Uses
The fruit are edible but sour. It is a very minor wild edible fruit that is also cultivated.

Distribution
A tropical plant. They grow between 30 and 400 m altitude in the tropics. They are mostly in the rainforest.
