Description

A shrub or small tree. It grows 2.4 m tall. The leaves vary and can have 3-5 or more leaflets. These vary in size and shape. They are 12-30 cm long by 5-10 cm wide. The flowers are dark red or purple. The fruit are oval and 1.5-4.5 cm long by 1-2.5 cm wide. They are smooth and orange.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows in the rainforest and up to 800 m above sea level.
