Description

A small tree. It grows 4 m tall. The leaves are long and without stalks. They are opposite. They are 18 cm long and 8 cm wide. The flowers are near the ends of branches and have many white stamen. They can occur singly or in groups. The fruit are large.

Edible Uses

The fruit is eaten.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows in mountain forests in West Samoa. It grows from sea level to 750 m above sea level.
