Description

A small tree 3 to 15 m high. The small branches can be round or flattened towards their ends. They are smooth and the bark is grey or yellowish. The leaves are widely scattered, opposite and narrowly oblong. The tip is sharply pointed and the base is blunt. The flower arrangement is always at the end of branches. The fruit are round and turn purple.

Distribution

A tropical plant. They are found in valleys at low or middle altitudes of Luzon and the Visayas in the Philippines.
