Description
A shrub. It grows 1-4 m tall. The young shoots have brown scales. The leaves are narrowly oval and 6-11 cm long by 2-5 cm wide. The base is more narrow. There are grey scales underneath. The flowers are at the ends of the branches with about 3 in a group. They are funnel shaped and white with pale red marks and pale yellow marks inside.
Edible Uses
The flowers are eaten.
Distribution
It is a temperate plant. It grows in mixed forests and open areas on dry rocky slopes between 1,200-2,800 m above sea level. In Yunnan.
