Source: WikipediaAnnona cherimolioides is a species of plant in the Annonaceae family. It is native to Colombia and Ecuador. José Jerónimo Triana and Jules Émile Planchon, the botanists who first formally described the species, named it after its resemblance to another Annona species A. cherimoya.

A small tree. The leaves are oval and taper to the tip. They are arranged alternately.

It is a tropical plant. In Colombia it grows between 1,000-2,420 m above sea level.

Authorities seem to differ as to whether it is an Annona or Raimondia.
