Description
A herb. It grows 15-35 cm tall. The rootstock is long and slender. There are 3-6 leaves crowded near the base. The leaves are light green underneath. They are 5-7 cm long by 3-4 cm wide. There are small teeth on the edge. There are 4-10 flowers on a stalk. They are saucer shaped and nodding. They are light green to white.
Edible Uses
The leaves are eaten.
Distribution
It is a temperate plant. It grows in pine and broad-leaved forests between 600-3,000 m above sea level in China. In Sichuan and Yunnan.
