Description

A herb. The stems are succulent and hairy. The leaves are hairy and have rounded teeth. The flowers are on long rigid stalks and have red petals. It is a hybrid produced by crossing Pelargonium zonale and Pelargonium inquinans.

The plant and leaves are used to make a traditional Ecuadorian drink called horchata lojana.
