Description

A trailing herb. The leaves are oval and 1.5-5.5 cm long by 1.8-3.6 cm wide. They have 3-5 lobes. The fruit are 3.5-4 cm long by 2.5-3.5 cm wide. They are green with yellow spines.

Edible Uses

The fruit is eaten.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows between 650-1,200 m above sea level.
