Carallia diplopetala is a species of plant in the Rhizophoraceae family that can be found in China and Vietnam.

Description

A shrub or tree. It grows 2-13 m tall. The leaves are oblong and 9-11 cm long by 3 cm wide. The base is wedge shaped and there are fine teeth along the edge. The flower petals are red. The fruit is red to purple or black. It can be round or oval and 8-13 mm long by 8-9 mm wide.

Edible Uses

The fruit are eaten.

A tropical plant. It grows in forest thickets between 300-1,000 m above sea level. In Yunnan
