Description

A herb. It grows 40-50 cm tall. The stems are 4 angled. The leaves are broadly oval and 4-7 cm long by 2-4 cm wide. There are teeth towards the ends of the leaves. The flowers are in short spikes. They are bluish-purple.

Edible Uses

The leaves are edible.

Distribution

It is a warm temperate plant. It grows in shaded moist grasslands between 100-800 m above sea level.
