Description

A shrub. It grows 1-3 m tall. The twigs are slender and angled. They have brown hairs. The leaves are scattered and 4-7 cm long by 1-2.5 cm wide. The flowering shoots are in the axils of leaves or near the ends of branches. The capsule is round and 4-5 mm across.

Edible Uses

The fruit is edible.

Distribution

It is a subtropical plant.
