Description
A herb or small shrub. It keeps growing from year to year. It is woody at the base. It grows 20-40 cm tall. The flowers are in dense spikes at the ends of the branches. These are 7-35 cm long. The leaves are narrowly oval and 1-6.5 cm long by 0.3-3.5 cm wide.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows between 20 and 360 m above sea level.
