Source: WikipediaMetalasia densa, the bristle bush or blombos, is a species of flowering plant in the family Asteraceae, native to South Africa and Lesotho. A perennial shrub reaching 2.5 m (8 ft), it is fire-adapted.
Description
A shrub. It grows 2-3 m tall. The young branches have white hairs. The leaves are often twisted. They are 2-15 mm long. The flower heads have 3-5 flowers.
