Description

A tree. It grows 23-30 m tall. The leaves are simple and narrowly oblong. They are 26-46 cm long by 10-16 cm wide. The flowers occur singly or in pairs. They have 5 lobes and yellow petals. The fruit are 2.5 cm across. They are orange when ripe.

Edible Uses

The fruit are eaten.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant.
