Source: WikipediaCaladenia curtisepala, commonly known as short-hooded fingers, is a plant in the orchid family Orchidaceae and is endemic to south-eastern Australia. It is a ground orchid with a single hairy leaf, and a single white to cream-coloured flower with a white labellum with red bands.
Description
An orchid. It has a single leaf. The tubers are round and 5-10 mm across. The flowering shoot is 20 cm tall. The leaf is dark green and narrow. It is 8-18 cm long by 2 mm wide. There are 1-2 flowers on a stalk.
Edible Uses
The tubers, roots, and flowers are edible.
Distribution
It is a temperate plant.
