Description
A tree. It grows 28-45 m tall. The trunk is 50 cm across. The buttresses can be 2 m high. There are 5 to many flowers in a group. The fruit are narrow oval when they have 1 seed or with 2-3 lobes when they have 2-3 seeds. The fruit are 3-4 cm long by 2-3 cm wide.
Edible Uses
The fruit is edible.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows from sea level to 400 m above sea level in Colombia. It grows in lowland forest and savanna on sandy soil.
