A bamboo. The stalks are 5-6 m tall and 3-4 cm across. The internodes are 13-14 cm. The culm sheaths are dark green with with scattered dark brown spots. The leaves are at the end of top branches. The leaves are 10-14 cm long by 1.6-1.9 cm wide.
Edible Uses
The shoots are eaten and enjoyed.
Distribution
It is a temperate plant. It grows in Zheijang province in China.
