Description
A tree. It grows 5-10 m tall. The branches are horizontal and hairy. The fruit is a long pod. It is 7-11 cm longby 1.4-1.8 cm wide and flattened.

Distribution
It is a tropical plant. In Argentina it grows from sea level to 1,000 m above sea level.
