Cereus aethiops is a species of cactus found from Uruguay to Argentina.

Description

A cactus. It has columns 1-2 m tall. The flowers are large and 22 cm long by 12 cm wide. The fruit are oval and 6 cm long.

Distribution

It is a subtropical plant. In Argentina it grows from sea level to 1,500 m above sea level.
