Alphonsea maingayi is a species of plant in the Annonaceae family. It native to Peninsular Malaysia and possibly Singapore.

Description

A moderate sized tree. The bark is black. The branches are spreading. The cut bark has a cucumber like smell. The leaves are oblong to sword shaped. They have short rusty coloured hairs. The ripe fruit are yellow.
