Medicinal Uses
A decoction of the bark is used in the treatment of colic. The powdered bark is sniffed to treat nasal tumours, and it is externally applied to treat scabies.

Cultivation
Most Croton species are relatively indifferent to their habitat and can grow on a wide range of soils in both disturbed and undisturbed vegetation.
