Description
A large tree. It grows 65 m tall. The trunk is 3 m across. The bark is grey coloured. The leaves are oval and 4-6 cm long and 1.5-2 cm wide. The seed cones are a flat oval shape. They are 7-9 cm long by 12 cm wide.
Medicinal Uses
The resin is used as medicine.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows in rainforests between 450-2,200 m above sea level.
