A shrub or small tree. It grows 8 m tall. It can be drooping. The bark is smooth. The branches are slender and the tips are hairy. The leaves are oval and 4-9 cm long by 1.5-4.5 cm wide. The fruit is red and fleshy. It is 2 cm long by 1 cm wide. There are usually 2 seeds.
