Description
A tree. It grows 25 m tall. The crown is dense. The leaves are dense and small. They are 4-5 cm long and 1.5 cm wide. The fruit is oval and fleshy. It has a small seed.
Edible Uses
The fruit is edible. Fruit an ovoid drupe, size of an egg, hardly fibrous and with a small seed. The young fruit is edible - it is 2cm long and 4cm wide.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant.

Asia, Indochina, SE Asia, Vietnam,
Other Uses
The wood is soft, white and of poor quality.
