Description

A shrub. The leaves are wedge shaped. They have fine hairs above and a velvety coating underneath. The fruit are round and have fine velvety hairs. They contain 3 seeds.

Edible Uses

The fruit is eaten.

Distribution

A tropical plant.

Where It Grows

Brazil, South America,

Notes

There are at least 11 Campomanesia species.
