Isolona deightonii is a species of plant in the Annonaceae family. It is found in Ghana and Sierra Leone. It is threatened by habitat loss.

Description

A small tree. It grows 5 m tall. The trunk is 30 cm across. The leaves are simple and alternate. They are narrowly oval. The flowers are green. The fruit is yellow to red and 6 cm long by 4 cm wide. .

Edible Uses

The fruit is edible.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows in the under-storey of forests in Sierra Leone
