Inga barbata is a species of tree in the family Fabaceae. It was described by English botanist George Bentham. It can be found in Peru and Brazil.

Description

A tropical tree in the Fabaceae family bearing long seed pods as fruit and growing easily from seeds that germinate in 1-2 weeks with moisture and shade.

Edible Uses

The fruit is eaten.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant.
