Description

A tall herb. It is a twiner. It is hairy. The leaves have 3 broadly oval leaflets. The end leaflet has a distinct stalk. The side leaflets are of unequal shape. They are 4 cm long by 2.5 cm wide. They taper to a tip. The flowering shoot is long and slender. The flowers are small. They are white. The fruit is a flat pod. It is 2.5 cm long by 5 mm wide and slightly jointed. There are 5 seeds.

Edible Uses

The leaves are eaten.

Distribution

It is a subtropical plant.
