Description

A herb that keeps growing from year to year. The leaves are usually in a ring near the base. The stem does not have leaves. The leaves are rough above and have a green felt underneath.

Edible Uses

The leaves and stem are used to make tea.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows in grassland near wet areas. It can grow in arid places.
