Description
A liana or creeper. The flowers are in groups in the axils of leaves or near the ends of branches. These are 5-20 cm long. The stalk is angular and has soft hairs. The fruit is an oval envelope. It is 1.5 cm long by 1.3 cm wide. It is greenish red or can be deep blue. It tapers towards the tip. It is juicy and edible.
