Description
A pumpkin family plant. It is a climber. The leaves are alternate and 2-4 cm long by 2-4 cm wide. They are simple and oval. The have 3-5 small lobes and teeth. The male flowers are in groups and the female flowers occur singly. The fruit are berries 1-1.5 cm long. They are narrowly oval.
Edible Uses
Both the fruit and leaves are eaten; the leaves are cooked as a vegetable.
