A tree. It grows 5-8 m tall. The trunk is 15 cm across. The branches usually hang down. The twigs are angular. The leaves are narrowly oval and 8-13 cm long by 3-6 cm wide. The fruit occur singly in the axils of the leaves. They are round and 2.5 cm across. There are 2 seeds.
