Description
A large woody vine with large leaves. The flowers are yellow and borne in rounded clusters. The fruit are oblong, somewhat kidney shaped, yellow and have an aroma.
Edible Uses
Fruit. Aromatic. Fruit berry-like, ovate, yellow, borne in rounded cluster. They are oval, about 1.5 centimetres in length.
Traditional Uses
The fruit are eaten raw.

Distribution
A tropical plant. They are common and widely distributed from northern Luzon to Basilan in the Philippines.
