Description

A shrub or small tree. The leaves are opposite and simple. The flowers are large and funnel shaped. The fruit is a long berry a little like a vanilla bean.

Edible Uses

The fruit is eaten.

Distribution

A tropical plant. It grows in dry deciduous forest.
