Description

A bulb plant. The bulb is 4-5 cm across. It has a brown covering over it. There are 12-20 leaves. They are narrow and twisted. The fruit is yellow and edible.

The fruit are used to make jam and sweets, and for flavouring, and are especially eaten by children.
