Description
A fern. It has an erect rhizome 30 cm tall. It has a thick layer of roots and scales. The fronds form tufts up to 1.5 m tall. The blades are narrowly oblong. They are 35-70 cm long and 12-28 cm wide. They are twice divided.
Edible Uses
The fronds are eaten.
Distribution
A tropical plant.
