Description

A tree. It grows 4-9 m tall. The trunk can be 20-60 cm across. The branches are hairy and there are spines near the leaves. The leaves are oval and alternate. They are 2-7 cm long. The fruit is 1-5 cm long and red.

Edible Uses

The fruit can be eaten fresh, sun-dried, or boiled. The seeds are also edible.
