Description

A small tree. It can grow u to 25 m tall. The trunk is cylinder shaped and 25 cm across. The bark is grey or brown and cracked. The leaves are simple and opposite. They are 6-14 cm long by 3.5-7.5 cm wide. The flowers are in the axils of the leaves. The fruit are 7-12 mm long and dark red. They are fleshy. There are 4-11 seeds 3-4 mm long.

It is a tropical plant.
