Description
A herb or shrub. It can grow up to 3.5 m tall. The leaves are oval to heart shaped or kidney shaped. They are 3.5-24 cm long by 2.5-25 cm wide. They have 3-5 lobes. The flowers can occur singly or in groups of 2-4. The flowers petals are dark red. The fruit are 5-6 mm long.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows between 1,100-2,400 m above sea level.
