Description
A tree. It grows 23 m tall. The trunk is 27 cm across. The twigs are hairy. The leaves are alternate and simple. The veins are easy to see. The flowers occur singly and are yellow. The fruit are 43 mm long. They have a smooth surface and are red. There are several seeds and white flesh.
Edible Uses
The fruit is eaten.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows up to 1,200 m above sea level.
