Description

A shrub or small tree. It grows 1-15 m tall. The trunk is 6 cm across. Young plant parts have white hairs. The leaves are 3-20 cm long by 1.5-7.5 cm wide. There are 1 or 2 flowers opposite the leaves.

Medicinal Uses

Used in traditional medicine and has anti-fungal properties.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows from sea level to 1,100 m above sea level.
