Description

A shrub. It grows 1.8 m tall. It has spines on the lower leaf axils. The leaves are 4-10.5 cm long by 1.8-5,5 cm wide. The flowers are in clusters in the axils of leaves. They are yellow to orange. The fruit capsule is oval and 1.8 cm long.

Medicinal Uses

Used medicinally in traditional practice.

Distribution

It is a subtropical plant.
