A creeper. It has single tendrils. The stems can be 50 cm long. The leaves are opposite. The flowers are small and white but in large groups. The fruit is a flattened berry. It is 11-16 mm long by 9-13 mm wide. There is usually one seed 10-14 mm long by 9-11 mm wide.
Medicinal Uses
Used medicinally.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows from sea level to 700 m above sea level.
