Description
A herb. It grows 30-100 cm tall. It has woolly hairs. The leaves are opposite and 4-15 cm long by 2-10 cm wide. The leaf stalks are 3-15 cm long. The flowers are near the ends of branches. They are red. The fruit are follicles 8-12 cm long.

Distribution
It is a temperate plant. It grows between 1,850-2,550 m above sea level.
