Description

A perennial creeping bramble native to Chihuahua in northern Mexico, rooting at nodes with simple or three-lobed leaves and white flowers that produce red fruit.

Edible Uses

Red Baneberry: Short herbaceous plant (no thorns), berries on thick red stems, each berry has a single seed, compound sharply-toothed leaves.

Rubus pumilus: Thorny woody canes (brambles), aggregate berry made of many drupelets, berries pull easily from receptacle.
