Description
A herb. It has a slender taproot. The stems lie long the ground and are much branched and 4 sided. They grow 15-70 cm long. The leaves are broadly oval or D shaped and 1-4.5 cm long by 6-28 mm wide. The flowers are in groups of 5-35 at the ends of branches.
Edible Uses
The leaves are eaten.
Distribution
It is a subtropical plant.
