Mammillaria magnimamma, common name Mexican pincushion, is a species of flowering plant in the cactus family Cactaceae.

Description

A cactus. The stems are 30 cm tall and 10-13 cm wide. The spine vary in shape and size but can be 5 cm long.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. In Mexico it grows between 100-2,700 m above sea level.
