Cyperus sexangularis is a species of sedge that is native southern Africa, including Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, Eswatini, and the Northern Provinces and Cape Provinces of South Africa.

Description

A robust herb. It keeps growing from year to year. It grows 1.5 m tall. It does not have leaves at the base.

It is a subtropical plant. It grows in swamps, wet grasslands and along stream banks.
