Leymus chinensis, commonly known as false wheatgrass or Chinese rye grass, is a species of wild rye native to China, Korea, Mongolia and Russia.

Description

A grass. The stems are in loose tufts. They are 40-90 cm tall. There are 4 or 5 nodes. The leaf sheath is a dull yellow. The leaves are 7-18 cm long by 3-6 mm wide.

Distribution

It is a temperate plant.
